Sydney Tuners (ST) services many venues, recording studios and other situations that involve professional musicians. On occasion, we receive requests for unforeseen last-minute work which can alter the arrival time of other bookings.

The technician may arrive either 30 minutes before or after the appointment time without notice,  otherwise, we will endeavour to contact you or vice versa. 

Pianos of all ages and make can break strings during tuning, especially if the instrument hasn’t been tuned for a while and the pitch needs adjustment. Whilst all care is taken, ST is not responsible should this occur.  

Treble strings ie. the top ⅔ of the keyboard can be replaced on the day (see prices) but bass strings ie. the lower ⅓ of the keyboard have a copper winding that needs to be measured and re-made. This requires a return visit and associated costs. All replaced strings stretch and go  out of tune within a week or two. This requires a retune and associated cost.
